Good returns at Kloof

The SAGDB's top girl player in KwaZulu-Natal, Celiwe Biyela, turned the tables on the boys at the recent Nomads Natal Schools Trophy at Kloof Country Club. Off her 8 handicap, Celiwe shot a round of 77 to win the prize for the best nett score of the day of 69.

Her 77 was also good enough for sixth place overall.

There was also success for the SAGDB in the B division, where Ndumiso Bhengo took the best nett prize for a nett score of 68. Ayanda Gwala recorded a nett score of 69 to finish second.

“These players kept the SAGDB flag flying and we are very proud of them,” said the SAGDB's development manager for KZN, Joseph Kunene.
