Franklin Manchest continues to make a name for himself on the junior circuit.

The Southern Cape's Franklin Manchest continues to make his mark on the national junior circuit. The KeNako Academy student is now in the top ten on the national u19 order of merit

His most recent success came at the Tshwane Junior Open where he finished in a tie for third place. His rounds of 78 and 69 gave him a 36-hole score of three-over par, and meant he missed a playoff for the championship by just one shot.

His second round score of 69 was also the best round of the tournament. He was the only player to break 70 during the event.

A few days earlier Franklin had also earned a top ten finish at the Dimension Data Junior Open at Fancourt. He finished in eighth place after rounds of 75, 71 and 78.
