Zethu earns a top 10 finish at the SA Amateur

Border's Zethu Myeki is now ranked as one of the top ten SA women amateurs

SAGDB graduate Zethu Myeki is on a roll. Earlier this year she won the Border Ladies Championships, and in April she claimed sixth place at the Sanlam South African Amateur Stroke Play Championship at Glendower.

The West Bank Golf Club member shot rounds of 78, 77 and 79 to finish as only one of five players to break 80 in every round over the tough layout. She also finished ahead of a number of South Africa's top women amateurs.

This showing together with her other recent performances has now propelled Zethu to seventh place on the Womens Golf SA national rankings.

"Zethu has been working so hard with coach Michelle de Vries, and now she is reaping the fruits," said the SAGDB's development manager for Border, Millie Dondashe.

Zethu is also a member of the Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation.
