Rushane Peters is leading the way for SAGDB players in EP

14-year old Rushane Peters is establishing himself as one of the most exciting prospects in the SAGDB's programme in Eastern Province. The youngster is performing consistently well in official junior golf tournaments in the region and is always in contention for provincial honours.

At the recent Compliance Wise Junior Open in Uitenhage Rushane carded a round of 79 to finish first in the u/17 division. Fellow SAGDB players Siyamthanda Mnaca and Damion Botha tied for fourth in the same division, five shots further back.

In the girls division, 12-year old Jamie-Lee Daniels once again outshone many of her older competitors to claim second place. She recorded an 18-hole score of 86 to finish just one shot behind the winner.
