A number of SAGDB players put in excellent performances at the recent Southern Cape Junior Golf Tournament held at Knysna Golf Club. Their results once again showed the growing strength of the programme in the region.
In the A division 17-year old Robin Meyer tied the best score of the day with a 73. He was however relegated into second place on a count-out.
His fellow SAGDB player Chester Appels was however the outright winner in the B division. Chester shot a round of 86 to take first place, while Virgill April took the prize for the best nett score in the division.
